Igishev Dima was born July 20, 2011 with the diagnosis of cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis symptomatic epiactivity. The five-year-old Dima has already visited different clinics in Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China together with his mom. Dima is going for massage, physical therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy, swimming, he plays with speech therapist.

At the age of nine months Dima received several serious diagnoses in a hospital in Urumqi. The doctors have confirmed the fears of Dima’s parents: his condition was caused by unskilled help at childbirth. Chinese doctors started the treatment. Thereafter, the boy learned to keep his head and his emotional condition was improved.

After treatment in Bishkek at the clinic of Dr. Bespalov some very good results were achieved. His intelligence rose significantly, the cognitive processes were improved. Dima started to sit with support, tried to walk holding the hands of his father.

After going through many clinics in different countries, Dima’s family found “their” doctors: the treatment in the Bishkek hospital appeared to be the most effective one. For the past year, Dima received the drug “Allotransplontant” produced in Ufa, Bashkortostan. Also in conjunction with Allotransplontant Dima needs another expensive medication “Tserebrokurin” for the development of intelligence. Its estimated cost is about 820 USD for 10 vials.

The course of treatment in the clinic of Dr. Bespalov is about 2100 USD, and the medications are worth 680 USD. Three times a year Dima needs a rehabilitation course in the sanatorium “Shchuchin”. The cost of the 10-day course depends on the season and reached USD 25 per person per day. Thanks to radon baths, the spasticity was reduced. A good positive effect was reached after making the rehabilitation therapy, which includes a course of massage, exercise therapy, acupuncture, swimming, hippotherapy, together with medical and spa treatment.

Dima has already achieved great results, also with the help of kind people. And there are still a lot of tests, which he definitely needs to go through. We believe in the happy future of Dima and in the fact that our current achievements will help him to become a fully developed personality.
