Valeria Muzhikova was born on 30 September 2001. Valeria suffers an atonic-astatic form of cerebral palsy, epilepsy.
The girl is not able either to sit, speak or walk: she is constantly in need of care. She lives in a small family with her mother and sister. However, despite all the difficulties Lera is a cheerful child and looks positively at this life. Lera enjoys simple things – fine food, music, funny toys, her mother.
Valeria has already passed through many trials: she had an operation and numerous rehabilitation. At present moment it is known that she is terminally ill: her brain is damaged, and so the main task is to facilitate as much as possible her life.

I want to thank hand4kids for that we were given funds to purchase a wheelchair! Previously, when we didn’t have it, Lera has been sitting in the seat-bag all the time, and was immobile. Now you can not even imagine her joy when she is driving in the flat, and for me as a mom it is much easier now, because I can bring my daughter in a wheelchair to the kitchen or to another room.
Since children like Lera are likely to get pneumonia, in order to ventilate lungs Lera needs a special bed for bedridden patients. Lera has been ill many times and this is due to the fact that she is kept always in the supine position.
Lera has a sister: she is absolutely healthy, and is currently studying in the 11th grade. The following year, she is going to enter the university on a specialty “Design”. For the study, she needs a laptop.
Since I do not work, I have to be all the time with a child, my financial capabilities are very limited. I would be very grateful to all the people who can help us, and wish you all health and happiness. Thank you very much.
